Hamada and I had a wonderful time last week visiting his family in UAE. As expected, there was amazing Egyptian food, lots of singing, emotional moments :) One of the days, we had a family outing to a Desert Safari which lasted for a few hours. You will see in these photos that there was dune bashing in a car (which made me sick) :p and lots of food, camel riding, belly dance show, sufi dance show, henna drawing (you will see my hand being drawn in one of the pictures)
We almost had a chance to visit the place where the proposal took place last year but circumstances prevented us from doing so when the rented car had a puncture and led to other events that night.
The week passed by really quickly but eventfully and it is interesting to be visiting as a daughter-in-law rather than a guest and it was lovely. I picked up some new Arabic vocabulary which impressed them hehe...so thats the summary of our visit to UAE :)
